Community Education: What’s next?
We’re beginning to step into the 2024-25 school year. We’re excited but unsure of what this year will bring for the CE team.
Here at MPC, we know the importance of what the Community Education team provides. Our hearts are heavy knowing the Modesto City School District has decided not to utilize our educational program in their middle schools. And while we are currently scheduling with high school teachers, those bookings are pending as we wait to hear more from the Department of Justice as they continue reviewing our curriculum.
But then there's GOD. We know he's a provider, and we have faith as the CE team is looking into uncharted territories and believe all things are for his purpose. Who knows what partnerships and doors this opportunity will open? We are currently exploring how we can partner more with local organizations in our community, including Without Permission and Modesto Gospel Mission.
Our willing hearts are ready to serve. “We’re here, Lord, send us!” is truly our mindset, and that's all that's needed for our CE team. Keep us in prayer as we see what this year will bring. If you have an opportunity for us and would like our CE team to speak at your church, youth group, or other organization, please reach out!

We love the opportunity to present to churches and their youth groups as we can utilize both worldly science with biblical truths. It can be so helpful for students to walk through issues they may facing with a biblical lens, knowing the identity they have in Christ, and learning about God's design for sex and relationships.
Our children who attend churches are not exempt to temptation and sin. Let's equip them with God's truth as they navigate an increasingly complicated world.
