At Modesto Pregnancy Center, a pregnancy test is not just a pregnancy test.

It is an opportunity to:

  • provide a safe, judgement-free space to voice fears, worries, traumas

  • share the gospel

  • pray for another family in our community

  • love

During a pregnancy test appointment, our registered nurses provide pregnancy testing and a medical consultation with each patients in order to address potential medical needs and answer their questions (which may range from “how far along am I?” to “how do I determine the paternity?”).

Peer advocates also meet with each patient to learn how we can best support them through their potential pregnancy, including providing local resources and setting them up in our pregnancy and parenting classes. Peer advocates strive to establish connection with their patients, and we pray the end of a pregnancy test appointment will not be the end of that relationship.
